L: Live Life Fully

A2Z-BADGE [2016]

Living life fully is more than a one step process. There are hundreds of ways to incorporate a spirit of living life to the fullest into our daily lives. For a quick thought for the day, here’s three ways from three different sites that all offer excellent advice.

As most of us are on the A to Z run for the month of April, busy and scurrying from blog to blog, I kept this short and easy. Is there one of the three that speaks louder to your heart? Mull over the words as you go about your day. And if you’d like to read more, check out the other links here.

45 Ways To Live Life To The Fullest, by Keep Inspiring Me

  1. Live consciously. We all get into ruts and routines we use to get through the day, but we only have a limited number of days on this earth. Don’t put life on auto-pilot – live consciously. Always ask yourself – why am I doing this? If you wake up too many mornings in a row without a good answer, then it’s time to make a change.

“It isn’t until you realize that all life fades that you consider now a commodity, and a scarce one at that.”

  1. All of the advice you list is inspiring; my favorite: Go out and screw up! You’re going to anyway, so you might as well enjoy the process. This takes the fear out of trying something new, experimenting with the unknown. A great way to live the one life available to you.

That’s true Gail. Sometimes we’re so hard on ourselves. We want to do something perfectly, first time out of the gate, so in our hesitation and fear of failure we often don’t try something new.

Don’t try to be perfect and other captions on the multi-coloured board…plus that tiny micro-cosmic dot. Life is a scarce commodity.

    Thank you!

I love “live life fully while you’re here. Experience everything.” That’s something I’ve definitely tried to live by, particularly as I’ve entered my 50’s. There is certainly that realization that time is, after all, a precious commodity and it is up to us individually to make the best use of it for ourselves. Thanks for this!

Excellent article. Living life fully is the goal, but to reach it one has to live wisely. For example, you cannot spend more than you earn forever.
