dreams2I think when we give up having dreams is when we lose our excitement for life. Yes, I believe in being grateful for what you we and being content with where we are in life. Those aspects are very important ingredients to a happiness that permeates our life and soothes our soul.

Having a dream doesn’t mean that we’re unhappy with our current place in life. Dreams can be something that propels us to a higher level of living. They can challenge us. They can reward us. They add zest to our lives.

Here are what some people say about dreams.

“Dreams are like stars…you may never touch them, but if you follow them they will lead you to your destiny.” Author unknown

Each of us has an inner dream that we can unfold if we will just have the courage to admit what it is. And the faith to trust our own admission. The admitting is often very difficult. Julia Cameron

Do not lose hold of your dreams or aspirations. For if you do, you may still exist but you have ceased to live. Henry David Thoreau

Without leaps of imagination, or dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities. Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning. Gloria Steinem

We all have our own life to pursue, our own kind of dream to be weaving. And we all have some power to make wishes come true, as long as we keep believing. Louisa May Alcott

What are your dreams? Are you pursuing your dreams and visions? Do you believe they’ll come true? I’d love to hear what they are.
